Nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales, this Multi-Award Winning Activity Centre is a new addition for 2023 and boasts excellent on-site activities as well as horse-riding facilities. There’s a huge variety of family friendly activities here (all included) from high ropes and indoor caving to horse-riding on the local bridleways. There’s certainly no time to get bored, so it’s an ideal holiday to keep everyone happy and entertained!

Evening entertainment is also put on each night so there’s plenty going on and you can choose to opt in and out as you please. There are two pubs within walking distance and some families choose to wander there with other families after a fun day of adventure, or stay on-site and enjoy the entertainment provided. This is a very sociable holiday with lots of other like-minded families to enjoy time with. This makes for a great holiday, giving everyone the chance to relax.
Most activities here are suited to children age 5+ and are delivered by qualified instructors.

A family adventure is at its best when you can sleep under the stars (comfortably!) with everything organised for you, so that you get all of the fun, without any of the hassle. Here, you will stay in a cosy tipi, surrounded by mountains and picturesque countryside within the private grounds of the centre in Llangorse. Dining takes place at the centre’s Base Camp Cafe which has its own spacious outdoor balcony seating 24 with a stunning panorama of Llangorse Lake and the peaks of the Brecon Beacons.
The on-site staff will take care of your day to day needs, including everything from cooking and cleaning, to organising a full schedule of adventurous activities and evening entertainment. We want you to enjoy precious time with your family rather than worrying about the little things in life.

There are so many exciting activities to experience & enjoy on this action-packed family adventure holiday in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.
The activities on offer here make the most of the centre’s extensive on-site facilities including miles of private bridleways for horse-riding, and extensive climbing facilities including the only indoor natural limestone featured climbing walls in Wales. There are also artificial featured climbing walls, large bouldering areas with plenty of interesting routes, an extensive natural rock caving system, and a 16-metre abseiling tower and a beginners tower.

This Multi-Award Winning Outdoor Centre in the Brecon Beacons, Wales offers a picturesque setting, ideal for families wishing to enjoy an adventure in the great outdoors, with a few extra comforts.
Set within the centre’s private grounds, surrounded by countryside and mountains, you stay in your own cosy tipi on the outskirts of Llangorse Village within the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Stay in your own cosy family tipi within a private tipi village, which will be exclusive to the families sharing the activity holiday with you. It’s the ideal base for your family adventure holiday, offering a really sociable experience with glorious mountain and lake views.
Laid out in a horseshoe shape, there are six large cosy Tipis available that sleep up to six in each Tipi, with prices based on a minimum of 4 people. If your family is smaller than four then we ask for a £200 supplement.
Each Tipi will have raised, comfortable beds, electricity, lighting and a wardrobe to store your belongings.
Dining takes place at the centre’s Base Camp Cafe which has its own spacious outdoor balcony seating 24 with a stunning panorama of Llangorse Lake and the peaks of the Brecon Beacons.
There are separate indoor toilet and shower facilities for males and females, a drying room & changing rooms.
Outdoor areas
There is plenty of outdoor space within and around the centre for safe play and recreational activities as well as places to sit and relax in the great outdoors.

Facilities here include the numerous activities on offer (and included), an indoor cafe, toilet & shower block, drying room and changing facilities.
Locally (within a short walk from the centre) there is a cafe, shop, 2 pubs, large green spaces for play and lots of walks to enjoy (if you have any spare energy!)
Meals
Your meals are included in the price of your holiday and are freshly prepared by the centre’s onsite catering team, with children in mind. You will be served meals in the on-site cafe.
Snacks and additional refreshments can be purchased at the on-site shop.
Dietary requirements can be catered for if you let us know in advance.

This adventure centre is set in the village of Llangorse in the Brecon Beacons. The closest towns are Brecon and Abergevenny and there is easy motorway access from the M5/M50/M4.

Just back home from a week at the Ardeche centre. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. First class food, even freshly prepared on the river bank. Brilliant. Instructors very knowledgeable and brimming with enthusiasm. Steve and Lauren caving – great. Rich( dick) homer kayaking super. And Becky on the decent – brilliant. Thanks again.
