Our Maltese Adventure Holiday offers one of our most spectacular family adventure programmes yet including activities from sea level traversing (similar to coasteering) to zip lining across the sea! One day you’ll be abseiling down a crag by the Mediterranean Sea and the next you’ll be enjoying the thrills of Malta’s waterpark. Evenings will be spent relaxing with other like-minded families back at the Guest House or exploring the vibrant coastal entertainment centre just 10 minutes away.

The price includes full board accommodation in a private Guest House (in your own en-suite family room), a full programme of adventurous activities, with one free day to explore the area, a day trip to the local waterpark and travel to & from activities. Flights are not included, but there are a good selection of budget airlines who fly to Malta from the UK.

What’s the plan for today?
Today you’ll be taken off for a fun-filled day of abseiling and coasteering! In the evening, take a swim after dinner or go and explore the vibrant nearby town.
Abseiling
This is abseiling at its best. Abseiling down a cliff with glorious sea views surrounding you. Our Maltese partners know the best spots in Malta to enjoy abseiling and will help you conquer any fears and achieve this exciting challenge of abseiling down towards the ocean; an experience you will never forget!
Coasteering
Enjoy a 1km sea level traversing adventure that includes a range of exciting challenges including: rugged paths, a high level traverse, High jump into water, Low level sea traverse, Short swim, Crossing boulders, Traverse the inside of a huge cave, Tight crawl through, Partly submerged monkey wall traverse, Knee high wet and wild wall traverse, Boulder field scramble, In-water tyrolean, ending with a high traverse / climb escape from the cliff to finish. The activity will be planned around the ages and abilities in the group.

Waterpark
Enjoy a fun-filled family day out to the Splash & Fun waterpark, suited to those feeling wild & adventurous or the more laid back and relaxed. The park offers a variety of slides, pools, side winder, black hole and various places to relax and sunbathe, or even read a book.
What’s the plan for today?
Today you’ll enjoy a fun day at the local waterpark (a packed lunch will be provided). On your return to the Guest House, dinner will be served at 7pm and then there’s time to relax, unwind or explore!
Waterpark
Enjoy a fun-filled family day out to the Splash & Fun waterpark, suited to those feeling wild & adventurous or the more laid back and relaxed. The park offers a variety of slides, pools, side winder, black hole and various places to relax and sunbathe, or even read a book.

Today’s activities…
Today it’s time for some snorkelling and rock climbing, followed by dinner at the Guest House and time to relax in the evening.

Snorkelling in Malta can be sedate and relaxing drifting along admiring the underwater reefs and sealife, or you can dive down, to get closer to the action! Our experienced Maltese guides will choose a perfect location that suits your experience and the type of activity you are looking for.
It does not matter if you are a complete beginner, we will always find you the perfect level of difficulty to suit you and make sure you finish totally satisfied.
Rock Climbing
Our experienced Maltese guides will take you to the perfect location for family rock climbing, designed to suit beginners and the more confident climber.
With beautiful ocean views surrounding you, it will be well worth the climb to the top!

Today is another action-packed day of adventures and what a day this will be. Ziplining over the sea and kayaking in the blue waters of Malta…
Zip-lining
Zip lines are great fun! Imagine standing on the edge of a steep cliff edge looking down more than 50m and below you is just rugged rock and the open sea. Secured by a harness and connected to the steel zipline by pulley, you anticipate the exposure and your body is full of adrenaline.
As you step away from rock you are suspended by the zipline as you literally fly across the cliff edge towards the other side.
Zip Lining is a safe activity that generates a lot of excitement and this is known in the area to be the fastest zipline in Malta!
The zipline speed can be controlled by your guide, so this is also suitable for young children of any age who can ride the zipline more slowly but daring teenagers or grown-ups can ride the zipline at full speed.
Kayaking
Where better to enjoy a family kayaking adventure than on the Mediterranean ocean? Our expert Maltese guides will take you all on a beautiful journey that suits the beginner and the more advanced. Enjoy beautiful blue seas and magnificent views as you learn to paddle and enjoy being on the water.

Your family will be accommodated in a charming Guest House, hosted by our Maltese Partners, ideally located within easy reach of the vibrant St Julian’s entertainment centre, St George’s Bay and several beaches.
This 12 bedroom, three storey Guest House is exclusive to Acorn families, offering a friendly & sociable base from which to enjoy your holiday. Each family of up to five is accommodated in a private en-suite room, within the spacious house, with a double bed and bunk bed in each room as standard (an additional bed will be provided for families of five). All rooms are air-conditioned and lockable for your own privacy.
A home from home, there are two lounges to relax in as well as kitchen which will include tea/coffee refreshments as well as a fridge for you to store your own items. Outside is a small pool and lounge/BBQ area. As this is in a popular holiday area and close to all the main amenities, the Guest House is next to a road and so this is most suited to families that enjoy being in the hub of things and all the benefits that come with this.
Within ten minutes’ walk you can reach the nearest beach at St George’s Bay, the entertainment centre in St Julian’s, lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
All meals will are included and will be served at The Guest House by our Hosts. Meals will be eaten altogether, making this a really sociable holiday and guaranteeing ready made friends for children and adults alike. Dietary requirements will be catered for with advance notice. You are also free to make use of the kitchen facilities during your stay and tea/coffee will be readily available.
Breakfast will be served buffet style and served in the dining room- hot and cold options available. Lunch will be a packed lunch, ready to take on your activities with you. Evening meals will be served at 7pm and will include family friendly options such as pizza, spaghetti bolognaise etc… Drinks (including wine on tables) will be provided with your evening meal. For those wishing to continue the night, there are plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants to enjoy and explore as well as the local beaches.
A home from home
Families who have stayed at the Guest House in Malta have told us how relaxed and enjoyable it is. Sharing the social areas with other Acorn families makes this a really friendly and sociable holiday, allowing children and adults to make friends and get the most out of this holiday.
Malta is a really affordable and easy place to travel to with many budget airlines operating here and flight times taking as little as 3 ½ hours. The transfer from Malta International to St Julian’s is just 20 minutes by car!
